After several years as an attorney in both New York and California, Eamonn Markham left the practice of law for legal recruiting. Eamonn decided to start Markham & Associates LLC because he realized that the only way for him to offer his exceptional brand of service was to create his own recruiting agency. Prior to starting his own firm, Eamonn was one of the most successful recruiters at one of the country’s largest and most prestigious legal recruiting firms. Although he started in New York, after only a handful of months he was invited to head that firm’s San Francisco office.

Eamonn has a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and two technical degrees (an M.Sc. in Physics from Polytechnic University, Brooklyn and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics with honours from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland). Eamonn has extensive experience as a lawyer and recruiter and has placed attorneys throughout the United States and in the European Union. He practiced corporate and bankruptcy law with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and worked in the in-house litigation department of the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A.(now J.P. Morgan Chase).
